We are now looking for a Supply Chain Business Consultant with RELEX expertise who wants to take a leading role in customer projects where business understanding, analytics, and technology come together to create real impact.

In this role, you will work as a consultant in project-based assignments with our clients, helping them unlock business value by implementing and evolving RELEX solutions within forecasting & replenishment as well as store and assortment planning.

You will be part of a cross-functional team together with Supply Chain Technical Consultants and project managers, jointly delivering high-impact solutions to clients within retail, wholesale, and manufacturing across the Nordics.

About the role

As a Supply Chain Business Consultant, you will take a leading role in driving planning and implementation projects within supply chain management. Your focus will include areas such as demand forecasting, inventory management, diagnostics, analytics, and machine learning.

You will work closely with customers to understand their business goals, processes, and challenges—and translate these into effective, scalable solutions in RELEX.

This is a role where you combine business understanding, analytical thinking, and system expertise to drive real change and measurable results.

Key responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Perform qualitative and quantitative analyses of customers’ supply chain processes and systems, and evaluate KPI impact for key stakeholders

• Take a consultative approach and drive projects towards business goals by analyzing and optimizing processes—for example increasing sales, reducing costs, and improving efficiency

• Lead requirements gathering and facilitate workshops to define a clear and realistic project scope

• Drive the configuration and implementation of RELEX solutions together with project managers, based on best practices and business needs

• Evaluate and recommend models and approaches that deliver the greatest business impact

• Ensure continuous alignment with the project team regarding progress, risks, and key decisions

• Support Avensia’s sales teams with domain expertise in client dialogues and business development

Who we’re looking for

We believe you have:

• 3–5 years of experience within consulting, supply chain management, demand forecasting, inventory management, business analytics, or a related field within retail or management consulting

• Experience from software implementations, including requirements gathering, process design, training, and user acceptance testing—either as a consultant or from the client side

• A relevant academic degree in industrial engineering, business administration, supply chain management, logistics, operations research, information systems, or similar

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn insights into action

• Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with both business stakeholders and cross-functional teams

• Fluency in Swedish, Norwegian, or Finnish, as well as English

• Willingness to travel as part of the role (approximately 10–20%)

Nice to have

• Experience with or certification in the RELEX software suite

• Experience from projects within retail, wholesale, or manufacturing

• Experience in change management, user training, and process improvement within supply chain or merchandising
