Supply Chain Technical Consultant – RELEX

We are now looking for a Supply Chain Technical Consultant with RELEX expertise who wants to take a leading role in customer projects where business understanding, analytics, and technology come together to create real impact.
In this role, your responsibilities focus on the technical aspects of RELEX implementationprojects. Together with your team you will plan and execute client workshops, build robust integrations, and find the best solutions to our clients complex challenges.
You will be part of a cross-functional team together with Supply Chain Business Consultant, specialized project managers, and development teams, jointly delivering high-impact solutions to clients within retail, wholesale, and manufacturing across the Nordics and beyond.

About the role
Dependent on the implementation project complexity, the technical consultant responsibilities can range from preparing and leading the customer workshops & responsibility of the overall technical solution to building interfaces, configurations of the RELEX system, troubleshooting, setting up monitoring and documenting the technical solution
Typically, technical consultants manage the customer communication with specific stakeholders, such as system integrators, on the customer end. To support these interactions and ensure successful project delivery, the role encompasses a broad set of technical and functional responsibilities:
· Act as a system integration expert in RELEX implementation projects
· Attend or lead specification workshops
· System installation, configuration and documentation
· Support System Integration testing, non-functional testing such as Performance & Operations Acceptance testing
· Build integrations between RELEX and customer backend systems using RELEX integration platform
· Investigate complex technical issues for our customers
· Handle escalations from the 1st line support team (24/7)
· Plan and execute development work in customer environments
Key responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Act as a system integration expert in RELEX implementation projects in Scandinavia
Design and build integrations between RELEX and customer backend systems, focusing on the import, transformation and export of large data sets
Attend or lead technical discussions and workshops.
Manage technical workstreams
Investigate complex technical issues for our customers
Plan and execute development work in customer environments
Support Avensia’s sales teams with domain expertise in client dialogues
Who we’re looking for
We believe you have:
3–5 years of experience within consulting, supply chain management, demand forecasting, inventory management together with experience in programming/database/query languages & tool skills (e.g., SQL Server, REST API, PowerShell, Java, Ruby, or similar languages & tools skills)
A relevant academic degree in the field of Software Engineering, Information Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computing Science, or equivalent.
At least 3 years of system integration experience in customer projects
Experience in integration tools, e.g. Dell Boomi
Advanced knowledge of databases and query languages
Fluency in Linux and Unix
Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, proactive way of working and teamwork capabilities
Good communication skills and experience collaborating with both business- and technical stakeholders and cross-functional teams
Fluency in Swedish, Norwegian, or Finnish, as well as English
Willingness to travel as part of the role (approximately 10–20%)
Nice to have
Proven ability to drive successful client deliveries and implementations
Certification in the RELEX software suite
Experience from projects within retail, wholesale, or manufacturing
Experience in supply chain and business analytics
