What you will be doing 

As a Commerce Advisor at Avensia, you will play a crucial role throughout the entire customer lifecycle, from the initial sales meetings to long-term strategic collaboration. You’ll be involved in scoping and conceptualizing solutions, guiding clients through their digital transformation efforts, and ensuring continuous improvement of their e-commerce and business processes.

In this role, you will:

• Work closely with clients to align with their goals and KPIs, optimizing their operations within your area of expertise.
• Coach and educate clients at various stages of their digital transformation journey, enhancing their competence and understanding.
• Provide deep expertise in e-commerce, business processes, and technical solutions.
• Play a key role in defining new solutions, shaping clients’ roadmaps, and supporting strategic decision-making.
• Act as the client’s “extended arm,” offering both strategic and operational support to help them maximize their existing and new solutions.
• Collaborate with a larger team of strategists and advisors with client-side experience, positioning Avensia as a trusted partner that challenges and empowers clients to reach their full potential.

As a Commerce Advisor, you will have a direct impact on our clients’ success, helping them navigate change, leverage technology, and achieve their business objectives.

Who are you

To succeed in this role, we believe you have:

• Extensive experience in e-commerce and retail.
• Extensive experience from the client side and/or similar consulting positions.
• A strong business mindset and sharp analytical skills.
• A data-driven and results-oriented approach, with a structured and organized mindset.
• A genuine interest in modern commerce, including its trends and developments.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with both client teams and internal cross-functional teams at Avensia.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Norwegian.

Previous experience with systems such as Commercetools, Contentful, Voyado, Optimizely, Contentsquare, Talon.One, Triggerbee, Omnium, or similar platforms is considered an advantage.
