What you will be doing

The Revenue Accountant is a key part of the Finance Team who is responsible for the revenue process. You will be a true team player within finance but also have a close working relation with our project and sales organizations while having client interest in mind. You will report to the CFO but are supported by a team lead.
This role will require curiosity and a will for improving of processes and way of working. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to contribute to a high caliber team, and wants to learn and grow a well-rounded finance skill set.

You will be responsible for:

• Be a key point person of your field having the responsibility of finalizing the invoicing process and tasks surrounding this process
• As the one responsible of the invoicing process we see that you will provide business value added insights when necessary around your field of work and always strive for an efficient way of working
• Review and support the invoicing process by having close contact with the project organization and manage revenue accounting
• Review project set-up by evaluating customer contracts, perform customer set-up and ensure alignment between systems
• Provide guidance and assist with daily questions from co-workers in regard to project and revenue processes
• Ensure accurate revenue allocation
• Educate the organization regarding the project and revenue process
• Other ad hoc tasks

You demonstrate precision and attention to details, complying with laws and regulations in the domain. You excel in a fast-paced environment and enjoy having the responsibility of your own field as well as understanding the bigger picture outside your field.

You are also a self-starter who can work independently but always with the team effort in mind. Always on the hunt for ways to help out, you proactively address issues and tasks to ensure ultimate attention and completion. You both understand and appreciate the need for clean and audit able financial records in order to enable rapid and well-informed decision making.

To be successful in the role we believe that you also have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Revenue and/or Project Accounting experience preferred
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 and MillNet system experience preferred
