What you'll do

As a Senior Commerce Advisor with a B2B focus, you will be a trusted advisor to our clients, helping senior stakeholders shape commerce strategies, drive digital transformation and create measurable business value.

Working at the intersection of business, customer experience and technology, you will guide clients from strategy through execution, collaborating closely with both client organisations and Avensia's multidisciplinary teams.

A key part of the role is to drive the growth of Avensia’s B2B business by proactively developing existing clients, identifying new business opportunities and turning client challenges into paid advisory, discovery and transformation initiatives.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Advising B2B clients in a curated portfolio on commerce strategy, digital transformation and customer experience.

• Assessing clients' current capabilities, challenges and opportunities.

• Translating business objectives and customer needs into clear strategies, roadmaps and initiatives.

• Facilitating discussions and workshops with senior business and technology stakeholders.

• Developing business cases, value propositions and recommendations that support investment decisions.

• Helping clients navigate complex B2B requirements such as customer-specific assortments and pricing, sales-assisted buying journeys, self-service, account structures and integrations with core business systems.

• Identifying opportunities to improve revenue, profitability, customer loyalty and operational efficiency.

• Supporting clients throughout transformation programmes and ensuring that strategic ambitions result in measurable outcomes.

• Working hands-on in selected customer transformation initiatives.

• Leading selected B2B presales, discovery and advisory engagements and turning them into concrete client initiatives and long-term business opportunities.

• Building trusted, long-term relationships with clients and identifying opportunities where Avensia can create further value.

• Strengthening and sharing Avensia's B2B commerce expertise through thought leadership, internal collaboration and knowledge sharing.

You are comfortable engaging senior stakeholders, communicate with confidence, build trust and turn strategy into action. We believe you have:

• Extensive experience from advising on, or leading, digital commerce and business development, either as a consultant or in a senior client-side role.

• Strong knowledge of B2B commerce and digital transformation.

• Experience developing commerce strategies, roadmaps and business cases.

• The ability to engage, influence and build trust with senior stakeholders.

• Strong analytical, facilitation and communication skills.

• A commercial mindset with a focus on creating measurable business value.

• Excellent written and spoken English.

It is a plus if you have:

• Experience from manufacturing, wholesale, distribution or other complex B2B industries.

• Experience with enterprise commerce platforms such as Optimizely, commercetools, Norce or similar.

• Knowledge of PIM, CMS, CRM, ERP, analytics or order management.

• Experience applying AI, automation or data-driven solutions.

• Experience contributing to thought leadership, industry events or professional networks.

Location:

The position can be based at one of our offices in Malmö, Lund, Helsingborg, Gothenburg, Stockholm, Karlstad or Oslo, with the possibility of hybrid work. Travel to clients and other Avensia offices is a natural part of the role.
